Ways to Find the Best Price on Everything that you Buy:
1. Search discount stores that sell what you are looking to purchase. We keep a list of “Outlet” Stores and arrange them by category for easy shopping.
2. When you find the item that you want and it is at an affordable price – check the price comparison sites to see if you can find it at a better price.
3. Compare the price plus shipping charge from the various stores.
4. Read the consumer reviews on the product to ensure it is of the quality you expect. Sometimes it pays to spend a little more for a higher quality item. We all learned this lesson the hard way at some point in our life!
5. Check eBay to see if someone is selling the item for less. Auctions can be tricky and misleading. People are getting more auction savvy and waiting until the last second to place their bids. So don’t get too excited when you see a really low price. The price may just increase quickly at the very last minute making it not a bargain after all. The best thing to do is view only the Buy it Now prices and compare the shipping costs to find the best deal. If you are patient and can wait to the end of the auction to do your bidding – put in your maximum bid in at the very last second. However – this is getting harder and harder to do as the competition and smart eBay shoppers are growing rapidly.
6. Check the Deals of the Day that our site offers. The product offerings may change daily or weekly but they generally big mark-downs which mean big savings for you.
7. Search Amazon by percent discount (see below). There is no way to do a search in Amazon for sale items only unless you have the special links. By having these secret search links you can find items that are marked down 40% to 90% off of their retail price. The discounts change often so make sure you have these links handy when you are ready for some online shopping. We included the links below.
